Wind farm

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - You may have heard of electric power, solar power, and maybe even nuclear power......but what about wind power?

County Commissioners are working out a plan that would bring a vocational education building to Bruni, Texas. The building would teach students how to become windmill technicians, which is a skill that may provide jobs at some wind farms in western Webb County.

Tonight on KGNS News at Six, reporter Christian Von Preysing tells us why a company is funding this plan, and how Laredoans will benefit from training.
