LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - A drug bust on the West Side by Laredo police reveals a sophisticated crackhouse.

The Laredo Police Department's SWAT team moved in Friday morning to the 3800 block of Pinder Avenue.

SWAT members had to climb a two-story building with ladders to raid the inside.

Police say they shot a pitbull in the process.

A search warrant was served after several weeks of investigation, according to police.

They say a lot of work was put into the drug house.

"The particular manner that makes this so unique is that they had to actually remove all stairwells and stairs leading to the second floor," said Joe Baeza of LPD. "And that, actually, the person who had to go sell the narcotics would actually have to rappel onto the building."

Following the operation, Ricardo Jimenez, Jr. and Roberto Zuniga were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Police confiscated marijuana, crack cocaine, and hundreds of dollars in cash.
