LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- A program that shines light on issues that affect our community as well as sends a powerful message is recognized.
A recognition was held at the County Court of Law Chambers for the efforts the drug courts have in our community.
Judge Chuy Garza thanked the agencies that work with the court and talked about their collaborative efforts to reduce the crime and drug issue in our city.
The court also provides a DWI program as part of the current juvenile drug program.
That program started in March of 2013.
