LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- Early voting numbers have been steadily decreasing the last couple of days.
If early voting is an indication of overall voter turn out for this years runoff elections, the numbers are going to be low.
Early voting numbers are poorer than expected.
The Webb County elections office projected fifteen to 16,000 people would vote in the run offs.
That number has dwindled down to 12,000.
The Elections Office reminds the public if you didn't get around to voting in the primary's you still can this time around.
The elections office hopes to have 9,000 votes cased by the end of the week.
Voters still have until Friday to vote.
Booths will be open for 12 hours.
44,000 and 23 votes cast are from Monday through Wednesday.
Voters are able to go to one of any five polling places and three mobile sites around the county.
Election day is May 27th.
