Four girls arrested for graffiti vandalism

The City of Laredo Parks recently filed graffiti reports about the girls' restroom at the Johnny Rendon Park being vandalized with graffiti.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The City of Laredo Parks recently filed graffiti reports about the girls' restroom at the Johnny Rendon Park being vandalized with graffiti.

The case was handled by the Juvenile Enforcement team. On both incidents, names of females were written with Sharpie markers and also the name of a local street gang.

After identifying the names that were written down and conducting interviews, LPD was able to come out with four juvenile girls' names. The suspects were 11, two were 12, and 13.

After interviewing all four girls and advising their parents of their alleged actions, all four juveniles admitted to their participation and committing the graffiti on several occasions and on different dates.

All four juveniles were detained on Friday around 11:00 am by their respective schools and charged with graffiti. All four were taken to Webb County Juvenile Detention Center.
