Gas prices on the rise

Some factors for this are stronger demand, higher costs for ethanol, and "summer blend" gasoline.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS,NBC) - Gas prices are on the rise again, for the 8th week in a row.

They're up nearly 5 cents a gallon since March 21st.

The national average price per gallon for unleaded now tops out at $3.60.

You can blame a number of factors, including stronger demand, higher costs for ethanol, and "summer blend" gasoline.

Here at home, the average price is $3.29. The cheapest price is $3.28 at three locations; the Shell on Zapata Hwy, the Murphy on International, and the Murphy on the Loop and Clark Blvd.
