Take a ride down San Bernardo and you will see chairs already lining the street for the parade. Tomorrow is the W.B.C.A. Parade and like previous years, organizers expect the community to come out by the thousands. Cordelia Valdez is a W.B.C.A. board member and says tomorrow's parade is the place to be.
"We're very excited it's a treat for the whole family. It has been a hot spot in Laredo for years."
According to Valdez, friends, families, you name it come out the day before to get that perfect spot. For Enrique Rico and his family, that means staying the night.
"It's the fourth year for us so were staying all night."
For Rico and his family this has been a tradition for the past few years. Rico says seeing the different floats and bands are fun and also gives him a chance to checkout his alma mater United high school.
"That's another reason so we can see our old high school coaches and band. It's fun"
The amount of chairs and people setting up even surprised others doing the same. Nick Valquez and his family was also setting up and was shocked at what they saw.
"I came out this morning and I was surprised.”
Tomorrow you can expect the parade to be jam packed as thousands come out to celebrate.
