LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The Government has filed it’s Notice of Intent to Introduce Evidence, in the federal bribery case against Webb County Commissioner Mike Montemayor.
The ten page document outlines 30 specific allegations against Montemayor. The allegations range from violation of election code residency requirements to accepting cash and in-kind payments, in exchange for political favors.
Montemayor was indicted, in March, on two counts of Federal Programs Bribery. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 16th.
