LCC South unveils new statue during tenth anniversary ceremony

The Laredo Community College South Campus showed off a new present during their tenth anniversary ceremony.

Wayne Deem III and Vyvyana Ossorio, the first student to enroll and graduate from the Camilo Prada Child Development Center unveiled a new palomino statue during the 10th anniversary ceremony.

LAREDO, TX (LCC) - The Laredo Community College South Campus showed off a new present during their tenth anniversary ceremony!

Wayne Deem III, assistant director of the LCC South Campus Physical Plant, and Vyvyana Ossorio, the first student to enroll and graduate from the Camilo Prada Child Development Center, unveiled a new palomino statue during the 10th anniversary ceremony of the Laredo Community College South Campus on Saturday, April 26 in front of the Senator Judith Zaffirini Library.

The statue was a donation by longtime LCC supporters Steve and Linda LaMantia. The event included a message from LCC distinguished alum and Congressman Henry Cuellar.
