LCC athletics receives a $31,822 gift from IBC Bank

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The athletics department at Laredo Community College can now step up their game!

Officials from IBC Bank presented Laredo Community College with a check for $31,822 on Tuesday, March 25 at the Fort McIntosh Campus to help support athletics at the college.

The funds will be used to purchase scoreboards at the LCC South Recreation Complex for the new men’s soccer and women’s softball teams.

Present at the check presentation were, LCC Vice President for Student Services Dr. Vince Solis, IBC Executive Vice President of Marketing Jorge Verduzco, IBC Executive Vice President Edward Farias, LCC Athletics Director Troy Van Brunt, LCC President Dr. Juan L. Maldonado, and LCC Dean of Student Affairs Robert Ochoa.
