LPD asks community to help identify suspect

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- The Laredo Police Department is asking the community for their help identifying a suspect in a series of robberies.

The first robbery happened on August 14th at the Stripes on San Bernardo.

The store clerk was robbed at gunpoint while the suspect went around the counter and stole $50 in cash.

The second case was last Friday at the pump and shop located in the corner of Park and Santa Ursula.

There, the suspect dressed in black displays a weapon to the clerk and steals $150 in cash.

In the latest robbery which was Monday, at the Stripes on Washington street, the suspect again with a gun demanded money to the clerk.

Once outside the store, the suspect approached a customer who was at the gas pump and with the gun in hand, demanded the vehicle.

The person refused and he ran away.
