Rescuers have found the body of the boy who drowned at Lake Casa Blanca.

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - Search teams have found the body of the 13-year-old boy who drowned at Lake Casa Blanca Tuesday night.
The teen's name is Olvin Ivan Madril Espana.

The Laredo Fire Department continued their search this morning and found the teens body floating 20-feet from the shore.

Crews had trouble Tuesday night diving into the lake, due to high winds and poor visibility.

Victor Lopez with the Laredo Fire Department says the teen was swimming with friends.
"They were swimming and they probably didn’t know they're limitations, they started having problems swimming and the girlfriend took her sister out. When she went back for her boyfriend he was already submerged underwater.”

State law requires a life jacket when for every person in a boat, but there is no law requiring a life jacket for swimmers.
Nevertheless, game wardens recommend you wear one.
