LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- Laredo Police Department introduced a new vehicle that will be used toe educate the public to not leave their vehicles.
This year alone there has been about 85 percent of investigations done regarding the issue of burglarized vehicles.
The vehicle will be used during all Laredo Police presentations.
Laredo police says that a high percentage of vehicles are broken into and burglarized happen in residential neighborhood during the late hours and those vehicles are left unlocked.
The pick up will be used for public events to educate Laredoans on leaving valuable items visible and to lock their vehicle at all times.
