LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- School is around the corner, but if your child is getting the back to school blues you might want to take a trip to the library.
The Laredo Public Library is holding an indoor carnival to help kids beat the back to school blues. Starting on Wednesday, August 13, through Friday, August 15, they will have several vendors offering their services and education to help parents be prepared for the new school year. Christine Deffendall, Laredo Public Library Children's Librarian, explains, "Really, we're just trying to get kids excited to go back to school. And also to share with them the different resources that, not just the library has, but the community at-large."
The activities take place at the main public library on Calton road. It all starts Wednesday through Friday at 2:30 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
