LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Police discover a shipment of meth during a routine traffic stop.

Close to 33 pounds of meth were discovered after police pulled over a tractor trailer for speeding near mile marker 14 along I-35 at about 5:30 Wednesday night.

A drug dog sniffed out 13 bundles of meth wrapped in clear plastic, hidden in the box trailer of the truck. Half were stashed in a hollowed out stereo unit.

No arrests have been made in this case, which has not been turned over to homeland security for further investigation.
