LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- Police in San Antonio arrest a man wanted for a murder case here in Laredo that had gone cold.
24-year-old Victor Rangel was arrested in a west San Antonio neighborhood yesterday.
He is suspected in the 2008 murder of 31-year-old Valentin Saldaña who was shot and killed in a central Laredo neighborhood in October of 2008.
Detectives believe it may have been part of a hired hit.
Rangel has been charged in the Bexar County jail for murder, he is expected to be extradited back to Webb county.
