More speak out on Border Patrol overcrowding

Two days after the Laredo Fire Department found code violations at six cells at the Laredo Sector South Border Patrol Station, the National Border Patrol Union and Rep. Henry Cuellar are speaking up about the demands placed on the Laredo Sector.

Both Cuellar and the union's representative are expressing concern about border security in light of increased demands on agents.

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - Two days after the Laredo Fire Department found code violations at six cells at the Laredo Sector South Border Patrol Station, the National Border Patrol Union and Rep. Henry Cuellar are speaking up about the demands placed on the Laredo Sector.

The Laredo Fire Marshal reported overcrowding in six detention cells, according to chief Steve Landin. Both Cuellar and the union's representative are expressing concern about border security in light of increased demands on agents.
