LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- The anticipated new Webb County central fire station will be more than just a fire station.
The county has plans to consolidate an air Evac and EMS department in the facility.
Currently there are only two fire stations that cover about 3,000 sq. miles of Webb County.
A third is being built int eh "Botines" area North of Laredo.
The Webb County judge says the new headquarter will provide better service for the county.
