Community Development sweeps through another Laredo neighborhood.

Operation Clean Up is returning to many areas.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The process to make Laredo a cleaner, greener place continues in another part of town.

Inspectors from many city departments are teaming up on Friday to make a sweep of a City Council District II area to enforce codes for the city of Laredo.

The campaign will encompass the following southeast neighborhood: from Pine to Zacatecas Street, between U.S. Highway 83 and New York Avenue, to include Chestnut, San Luis, Monterrey, Saltillo and Bartlett, Jarvis, Martin, Milmo, Texas, Louisiana
and Arkansas Avenue.

Inspectors from Community Development (Code Enforcement
division), Police (Ordinance division), Health (Animal Control division) and Building Development Services (Zoning Inspection division) are walking door-to-door on Friday. They will be speaking to property and business owners about proper maintenance codes, pointing out violations and distributing information.
