LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- A group of 4th and 5th graders from Perez Elementary who met their reading goals for the school year were treated to a day of interactive education time and play time at the Imaginarium of South Texas.
Students will participate in an activity entitled "Phases of the Moon" with ping pong balls.
The kids will create their own mini-moon phase model by using glow in- the- dark ping pong balls to understand how the moon changes its appearance throughout the calendar month.
