LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- Laredoans interested in becoming foster parents learned how to make a difference in the life of a child in need.
Voz de Niños held a foster care festival to hand out information to the community.
There was live music, face painting for the kids and a whole lot of fun.
May is National Foster Care Awareness Month.
It's a time to recognize foster youth, and the people and agencies that make a meaningful difference in their lives.
The event was sponsored by Voz de Niños.
