LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- The Webb County Sheriff's Department bid farewell to visitors on a training mission from Ecuador.
The Federal Police of Ecuador sent 12 of its officers to train here in Laredo.
During their three weeks here, they learned about new technology, law enforcement techniques and border security.
Part of that time here was spent learning to combat organized crime.
The Ecuadorian officers say they will apply what they learned here to continue fighting the cocaine trade in Ecuador and at its borders.
