LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- There is new information released on Thursday night's shooting.
The victim is Raul Medina, 24.
The man that was inside the house is Raul Hernandez. He was shot in the arm is in stable condition.
The deceased is believed to be a suspect. Police are investigating whether or not Medina broke into the house. The deceased had a 45 caliber handgun in his possession, and the people inside the home also had a gun.
At this time, nobody has been arrested.
Right now detectives are still investigating, and will turn over the evidence to the District Attorney's office to see if a grand jury determines if there will be an arrest in this case.

Police are working on investigating the city's seventh murder of the year.
They were called out to a central Laredo neighborhood shorty after 5 PM, on reports of shots fired.
When police arrived at a home in the 1700 block of Cedar St., they found a man dead on the scene, outside the house.
The man is 24-years-old but police haven't released his identity.
But that man wasn't the only one shot.
Police say several people were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
They are being questioned by detectives.
A suspect has not yet been named.
