The mother of a UISD middle schooler is livid over what happened to her child earlier this week when a school bus driver refused to drop her 12-year-old son at her home.
Rosa Salinas says, "we were basically sitting outside waiting for the bus to come drop off my son when it started to pour." Because of a change in the weather Friday, the boy did not return home at all.
"Normally Miss Salinas's son gets dropped off at home instead Friday afternoon he was dropped off right here, she says she received a call from the bus driver threatening to call the police if he didn't pick them up."
About a half mile away from his home, Salinas says the bus driver refused to drive to the house because of the possibility of the school bus getting stuck in the mud.
