TAMIU holds a candlelight vigil for Venezuela

Venezuela is in our thoughts and prayers.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Students at TAMIU take some time to remember Venezuela.

A candlelight vigil is being organized by the TAMIU Student Government Association in order to bring awareness to the current political, social and economic climate in and issues facing Venezuela. Earlier today, students conducted a Venezuela Peace Walk at the Student Center.

The vigil will be between Dr. Billy F. Cowart Hall and the Anthony J. and Georgia A. Pellegrino Hall. For more information, contact Miguel Trevino at 956-326-2283, or mtrevino@tamiu.edu.
