LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- Laredo students got a taste of what its like to work in the real world.
Students from United South High School spend a day with AT&T representatives, shadowing them in the different fields in the company.
The students had the opportunity to share life lessons and learn about career skills.
A total of 40 students from United South High School joined in the event.
The purpose of the program is to businesses to engage in their communities and connect with students at risk of dropping out of high school to help drive classroom and career success.
