KGNS reporter Christian von Preysing, while in Ecuador, caught a live volcano eruption on camera last week.
The Tungurahua, which means "throat of fire" in the local indigenous language, made world headlines this month with a major eruption that covered nearby communities in a snowfall of ash.
Christian was there the day a national newspaper reported eruptions picking up yet again.
Locals say the volcano has been active for the last fifteen years, and they say it lights up especially on the holidays.
