A Laredo man says the past few days his water pressure has been extremely low...to the point he says his water will completely shut off. KGNS news reporter, James Johnson joins us with what the utilities department says is the problem and when they say it will be fixed. James?
Gustavo Rodriguez lives in Laredo Ranchettes off of Highway 359 and says the low water pressure has been a problem all week.
Rodriguez says throughout the day whenever him and his family want to do things like brush their teeth, take baths, or even wash dishes it’s a challenge because of the small amount of water that comes out of the faucet. Rodriguez says he's called the utilities department and wants the problem fixed.
Now I did talk to the Utilites department and they say the reason for the water pressure problems is because they had to make adjustments to their water system due to a newly constructed transportation facility. Adrianna back to you.
The Laredo utilities department says they hope to have the problem fixed by next Wednesday.
