A brush fire on the city's west side kept firefighters busy Sunday afternoon as it spread toward several structures on Geronimo Loop.
Firefighters tell us it started as a small grass fire, spread to thicker brush, and ended up burning two mobile homes. The fire actually moved up a hill off a nearby road before reaching the neighborhood.
Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire. Some neighbors believe it might have been from a cigarette butt discarded from a vehicle downhill from the nearby road.
