LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - A woman is in deep trouble after threatening to blow up a Laredo federal building.
Cristina Lara, 43, is alleged to have placed a call to the Drug Enforcement Administration, then left a message threatening to blow up their offices.
The incident happened last week, and staff and personnel immediately evacuated.
Since then, the FBI traced the call to the reception area of Laredo Medical Center, where surveillance video allegedly shows Lara on the phone at the same time the call was made.
Lara could face up to ten years in prison.
