CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (KRIS) - Firefighters are working to clean up diesel fuel that spilled after an 18-wheeler slid out of control in Robstown.

A witness says he could see the driver of the 18-wheeler lose control on the overpass at the intersection of County Road 44 and Highway 77.

The truck then slammed through concrete walls and sent debris flying as it jackknifed in the middle of the road. The driver is alright.

The area is blocked off and police say it could take 3 to 4 hours to safely clear the street.
