"Burger King Baby" reunited with mother

Twenty seven year old Katheryn Deprill of Allentown, was left in a Burger King bathroom just hours after she was born.

ALLENTOWN, PA (KRIS) - The Pennsylvania woman dubbed the Burger King baby has been reunited with her biological mother.

Twenty seven year old Katheryn Deprill of Allentown, was left in a Burger King bathroom just hours after she was born.

On March 2nd, she posted a message and picture on Facebook, asking people to help her find her birth mom.

The post simply read: "Looking for my birth mother. She abandoned me in the Burger King bathroom only hours old, Allentown, PA. Please help me find her by sharing my post."

After the post was shared more than 30,000 times and National media attention, Deprill's mom came forward.

On Monday the two met for the first time.

She says meeting her mother was better than anything she could imagine, calling it "pure joy."
