Woman injured in SXSW crash returns home

FORT WORTH, TX (NBC) - A woman injured in last week's deadly crash at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin is back home in Fort Worth.

Tish Davis was one of 23 people injured when a drunk driver plowed his car through a barrier and into a large crowd of festival attendees.

Davis suffered a broken leg, and received stitches in her face and head. Her boyfriend is still in a medically-induced coma in an Austin hospital.

Davis said she doesn't remember anything about the early morning accident. Three people were killed in the crash.

21-year-old Rashad Owens has been charged with capital murder and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle. He's also accused of driving drunk and fleeing from police.
