HOUSTON, TX (KRIS) - A 1-year-old girl came close to death after drinking her underage mother's alcoholic beverage.
Paramedics rushed to the family's apartment after receiving a panicked call, saying that the baby was vomiting and shivering.
The 17-year-old mother admitted to police that the child drank half of her beverage, the equivalent of six shots of vodka.
The baby's blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. Thankfully, the little girl survived.
Her mother and aunt are facing child endangerment charges, which is a felony.
