EDINBURGH, TEXAS (KRIS) -- Border Patrol reports nearly 180 immigrants with prior convictions for sex offenses have been apprehended in South Texas since Oct 2013.
Most of the offenders have convictions for crimes against children. Those crimes occurred not just in Texas, but from coast to coast in the United States.
Three people arrested just this weekend in the Rio Grande Valley sector already had warrant for their arrests for sex-related crimes in Fort Worth, Virginia, and Austin.
All three men were turned over to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office for extradition
