SAN ANTONIO, TX (WOAI) - Investigators say a box of cereal led to an attack on an elderly man Tuesday.
Police say the suspect, Jacob Williams, was fighting with the victim's grandson over a box of cereal when the 73-year-old victim got in between the two men.
An arrest affidavit then states Williams pushed the victim, causing injuries to his shoulder. The victim drove himself to the hospital where doctors found he suffered a possible torn rotator cuff.
Court documents show the victim had originally hired Williams to help care for his disabled wife. Williams faces a charge of injury to the elderly.
