Flames engulfed the building on Tuesday, forcing the worker onto a balcony.

Witnesses captured the tense moments on camera watching as firefighters finally reached the man and pull him onto the ladder truck.

HOUSTON, TX (KVEO) - Dramatic cell phone video captures the rescue of a worker on the upper floors of a building engulfed in flames.

The terrifying moment was caught on camera by a woman in the building next door. This construction worker got stuck on the top floor of the condo complex.

Frantically waving at rescuers, he eventually jumps to the balcony below to escape the flames. Lucky for him, Houston fire fighters were on their way and rescued him.

Senior Captain Brad Hawthorne was on the edge of that ladder and made the save.

The construction worker is fine. He, along with his other co-workers, were doing stucco work on some of the walls when the fire started suddenly.
