SAN ANTONIO, TX (WOAI) - A driver survived an 80-foot fall off a highway late Monday night.
Officers say the man drove his car off an embankment on Loop 1604 between Redland Road and Gold Canyon just before midnight.
The car fell 80 feet into a creek bed.
The driver was taken to Stone Oak Methodist Hospital for treatment, but is expected to be okay.
Police say they will take a mandatory blood draw to determine if the man was driving drunk.
