HOUSTON, TEXAS (NBC) - Heavy rain overnight has left thousands of people in parts of Texas in the dark, and many streets underwater.
In Houston, commuters had a tough time with it Tuesday morning. A Metro bus tried to make it through a flooded road and got stuck.
Riders eventually got off the bus and decided to walk.The bus was towed away an hour later.
Many drivers decided to take their chances. Some made it through the flooded streets, some did not.
The forecast calls for more scattered rain showers Tuesday afternoon, but the threat of flash flooding has passed.
