SAN ANTONIO, TX (KABB) - For the second time in many days, the campus of Madison High School was placed under lockdown due to a threat.
North East Independent School District officials describe the lockdown is a "soft" lockdown, and a canine unit is currently sweeping the campus for any possible threat to student safety.
NEISD confirms a student received a text from an unknown source claiming a weapon was brought to the campus.
It's not known who sent the text.
NEISD leaders are investigating the threat.
Meanwhile, parents received robo-calls from school leaders, alerting them to the possible threat.
