HARLINGEN, TX (KVEO) - A Harlingen woman is arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated while having her daughter as a passenger.

On Friday, March 14th at around 11 p.m. a Harlingen police officer made a traffic stop on a beige Nissan on the 300 block of W. Tyler Ave. after he witnessed the driver swerving in and out of its designated lane.

When the officer made contact with the driver, identified as Alma Ontiveros Deleon, 36, she had visible signs of intoxication such as red blood shot eyes, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol on her breath.
