RAYMONDVILLE, TEXAS (KRGV) - A man has been sentenced today to more than 10 years in prison for robbing a Stripes store and slashing the tires on three police cars.

It happened on February 9.

A clerk at the Stripes store called Raymondville police and said that man walked behind the country and stole $160 from the register.

Before the robbery, police say Miguel Angel Fuentes, 27, punctured tires on three police units behind the police department headquarters.

Fuentes was arrested the same day in a field near his home.
