SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (WOAI) - City leaders are expected to consider a new truancy plan that would create a standard policy for truancy cases within city limits and within the Bexar County line.
The proposed policy would allow all school districts within Bexar County to get on the same page when dealing with truancy cases in the area. County leaders approved the plan last month.
City leaders could follow suit at a governance meeting slated for Wednesday afternoon at San Antonio City Hall.
