A six-year-old girl accidentally shot herself in the head late Sunday night at a home on Aransas on the city's East Side.
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (WOAI) - A six-year-old girl accidentally shot herself in the head late Sunday night at a home on Aransas on the city's East Side.
Police say the mother of the girl told them she was holding the gun for someone else when her child somehow got a hold of the gun.
The girl was taken to University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified her as 6-year-old Jennilynn Montana.
Police have not said whether they plan to file charges in the case.
