HOUSTON, TEXAS (KRIS) - Investigators in Fort Bend County say a former Texas A&M Corpus Christi student arrested for the murders of his parents is being cooperative.
Ryan Walton was arrested in the Rosenberg area Saturday afternoon. Police had been searching for him since Thursday night when his parents were found shot to death in their home.
An off duty officer spotted the couple's BMW outside a fast food restaurant on Saturday.
Investigators are now focusing on what led to the double murder. "I believe that the family did have issues with Ryan, as to the extent of those issue, I am unaware," said Sheriff Troy Nehls.
Walton is being held without bond in Fort Bend County. Investigators still have not found the murder weapon.
