ELMENDORF, TEXAS - Members of the community in Elmendorf, Texas are remembering the town's police chief, after he was shot and killed during a traffic stop.
Investigators say the chief was making a routine traffic stop when a 24 year old man opened fire on the chief, striking him in his shoulder and stomach. He was flows to a San Antonio hospital, where he later died.
The shooter had an active warrant for graffiti. He now faces a charge of capital murder of a police officer.
