BALCONES HEIGHTS, TX (WOAI) - The Balcones Heights Police Department is looking for two men who robbed a convenience store with a machete last Thursday night.

The incident happened at the Shell Timewise store located in the 200 block of Crossroads Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m. The police department and Crime Stoppers San Antonio released surveillance images of the two men.

One of the men wore a long-sleeve white shirt, a blue bandana across his mouth and the images clearly show him holding a large knife. Police say the machete-wielding robber demanded money from a customer and two cashiers inside the store.

The victims gave the robber money while the second robber stood at the door and acted as a lookout. Both men got away in a dark-colored Chevy Camaro with two wide white stripes across the hood and trunk of the car. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
