Trujillo is in prison for the rest of her life unless she gets parole.

It's the Houston case that made national headlines -- a woman convicted of murder after killing her boyfriend with a stiletto heel.

One month into that life sentence Ana Trujillo gave Local 2 a revealing jail house interview in the first time she's spoken publicly.

Her hands were shackled and she wore a cream colored suit. She told us she was a victim of abuse and never reported it. She felt like this was her detriment -- the jury didn't know her boyfriend had done this many times before. She says he attacked her at his luxury condo and the only thing she could do was to defend herself with her stiletto.

Trujillo is in prison for the rest of her life unless she gets parole. Local 2 asked her whether or not she still loves her boyfriend, Stefan Anderson.

"Yes, I still love him, even though there is another side of him that was very dark and kind of evil. When you have been a victim, you still, I still don't want to believe he was actually that person. But he was," she told Local 2.

No question was off the table, but there is one question she refused to answer. Coming up tonight at 10 p.m. on Local 2 News, we will tell you what that question was, and you will also hear her answer to our question that if this was self-defense, why did she hit him 25 times with her stiletto.
