LONGVIEW, TEXAS (WOAI) - Police have arrested a 31-year-old woman who reportedly enrolled as a 15-year-old girl at an East Texas High School.

Charity Johnson was arrested Sunday and is now charged with giving officials a fake name and date of birth.

Students who went to the school with Johnson say she claimed her biological father abused her and her biological mother was dead.

One student also claims she let Charity live at her home because the suspect claimed she needed a place to stay.

Johnson apparently enrolled as a sophomore at New Life Christian School last October under the name 'Charity Stevens.'
