BAIKAL REGION, RUSSIA (NBC/EBU) - An explosion at a military warehouse in the Siberian Baikal region sent a red ball of fire into the sky overnight.
At least ten people died after a fire broke out at the warehouse.
The victims were in a truck traveling near warehouse when a sudden explosion happened. Two were military personnel, and the other eight were civilians.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said the fire had been extinguished, though the cause of the blaze was unclear.
More than 2,000 people were reportedly evacuated from three villages near the area where the fire was burning.
